CBS is definitely making news this week, but not the good kind. In addition to canceling The Millers, the network might be dropped from Dish Network channeling, which would case mayhem.

According to TV Line, CBS officially canceled its comedy The Millers, which is currently in its sophomore season. "One more episode will be shot, and the series is still scheduled to air a new episode this Monday (8:30/7:30c), but it's unclear how many episodes will air beyond that," TV Line reported.

The Millers stars Will Arnett as Nathan Miller, a local Virginia news reporter and follows his wild family. The series also stars Glee's Jayma Mays as Debbie, J.B. Smoove as Ray, Beau Bridges as Tom Miller and Margo Martindale as Carol Miller. Will & Grace alum Sean Hayes was recently added to the cast for its second season as Kip Finkle.

"Despite a high-profile new cast addition in Sean Hayes, The Millers was dealt a scheduling setback when CBS opted to launch its second season on Mondays and air it there for a couple of months instead of keep it in the protected post-Big Bang slot as originally planned," Deadline reported.

In addition to canceling The Millers, CBS announced that there is a good chance that Dish Network at the end of their current deal might drop its 14 stations. "While CBS has been able to reach agreement with all other major carriers of our stations, we are finding it difficult to reach agreement with Dish," a statement for Keep CBS reads via TV Guide.

According to Deadline, Dish says, "Only CBS can force a blackout of its channels." The network continued saying, "[We are] actively working to reach a deal before the contract expires... We are unsure why CBS decided to involve customers in the contract negotiation process at a point when there is time for the two parties to reach a mutually beneficial deal."
