As we enter Week 10 of Season 19 of Dancing with the Stars, Janel Parrish is opening up about the curveball for this week's performances. The 26-year-old is also talking about her partner Val Chmerkovskiy's mistake last week.

The Pretty Little Liars star and her partner Val are definitely in the hunt for the mirror ball trophy this season. As they head into the semi-finals, Janel is reflecting on her killer performances from last week's show.

"The quickstep we performed last week was, honestly, one of my favorite dances we've done. I thought it was amazing," Janel wrote in her People blog today. "It was America's choice dance, so they chose everything down to our costumes and the song and the style, and at the end they wanted us to kiss, so we threw that in for America!"

Although the kiss at the end of their quickstep was steamy and further fueled the rumors that the dancing partners are actually dating, there was a mistake within the routine. Surprisingly, it wasn't Janel, who's the contestant, but Val the pro who made the notable mistake.

"Even though Val had a little bit of a stumble during the dance, it didn't throw us off at all. The poor thing, his patent leather shoes got stuck together, but we both just kept going and we were able to get back on track," the PLL actress explained. "I know Val felt really bad because of the slip, but I was like, 'You're human! Sometimes humans slip. It's all good!'"

In addition to their quickstep routine Monday, Nov. 10, the couple had to perform a trio routine, which included Janel being thrown around like a ragdoll. Even though their performance was spectacular, Janel revealed that she wasn't confident in the routine before hitting the stage.

"I actually wasn't terrified of being upside down and having the men grab my legs and pull my body apart, but being thrown up in the air was the scariest part. I actually didn't stop screaming while doing that throw until showtime," the star revealed.

Tonight's routines won't involve as much flying in the air, but there will be a new element in every couple's performances. This week everyone will have one song that will be performed two ways. There will be a regular version and an acoustic version to tie in with the "plugged/unplugged" theme.

Janel and Val will be performing a paso doble and an Argentine tango to Calvin Harris's "Blame," Janel explained.

"The paso doble is going to be very powerful and passionate, and the Argentine tango is going to be softer and more romantic. It's going to be fun and I'm really excited," she added.
