As MStars News reported earlier today, Chris Hemsworth was announced People Magazine's sexiest man alive. And while the Australian Thor star appears to be thrilled at the decision (who can blame him?), not everyone is so happy... like Arrested Development and Horrible Bosses 2 star Jason Bateman. The actor stopped by ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live to get some of the frustration off of his chest.

Once sitting down, it was obvious there was something irking Bateman. When asked how he was, the actor immediately responded, "Yeah, it's good. ... It's gonna be good. ... We'll power through it." After some prodding, Bateman admitted that the reason for his dour mood is "dumb" and "embarrassing."

"I assumed that I was going to be booked on the show tonight for the segment that has just gone," he said. Which caused Kimmel to get the point and respond, "Oh, you thought you were going to be the sexiest man alive." And of course, he's not.

Check out Bateman's beef with Hemsworth below:

The segment Bateman initially brought up – the one he thought he was originally there for – aired just before the Arrested Development lead came out to the chair. During such, the ABC host introduced the (then unknown) sexiest man alive on Skype with a People Magazine cover blocking his face. He then gave three clues that hinted at who this year's sexiest man alive was: he's sexy, he's a man and he's alive.

Then, Kimmel asked his audience for guesses. And after some time they were able to lock down that this year's People Magazine Sexiest Man Alive is indeed Thor star Chris Hemsworth.

Check out the initial segment below:

Best part of the above clip? When Hemsworth thanked his parents for "putting this together." Nicely done, parents!

Tune into more Jimmy Kimmel Live weeknights on ABC at 11:35 p.m.
