Billy Eichner and Amy Poehler are bringing a new hilarious show to a computer near you with their original series Difficult People. Hulu has officially picked up the comedy series.

The Hollywood Reporter learned that after Billy, known for his work on Billy on the Street, originally filmed the pilot for the USA Network, it's Hulu that has picked it up for a series order.

Julie Klausner and Billy created the series that follows the duo — who both star in the series — as best friends living in New York City as they encounter awkward situations. Billy and Julie wrote the pilot and Parks and Recreation star Amy is one of the executive producers of the series alongside Louie's Dave Becky, according to TV Guide.

"Amy Poehler, Billy Eichner and Julie Klausner are a dream team of comedic possibilities. We look forward to bringing this hilarious view of the world to Hulu with our partners at Universal Cable Productions," the Hulu senior vice president and head of content, Craig Erwich, told The Hollywood Reporter.

Bill and Julie currently work on Billy on the Street together, which just ended its third season for Fuse. Julie's the head writer on the new series, and Billy helped her write the pilot.

"Working with the immensely talented trio of Amy Poehler, Billy Eichner and Julie Klausner on Difficult People has been an incredible experience, and it definitely delivers on the title of the show in a hysterical way. We're excited to collaborate on our first original series with Hulu and are looking forward to doing many more," the UCP executive vice president of development, Dawn Olmstead, said.

"I tend to enjoy funny people creating and starring in comedy programs, and Julie and Billy are the funniest around," Amy told THR.

Amy and Billy have starred together in her NBC comedy Parks and Recreation, which begins its seventh and final season in 2015. Billy is said to be returning as a guest star at some point during the final season of the comedy.
