Actress Sharon Stone has been dealing with a tragic family incident. Her 22-year-old nephew Colin Stone has died from a suspected heroin overdose.

"Colin was a wonderful talented son," a statement released by the family read. "Unfortunately he had an addiction bigger than himself. He will be greatly missed. Our prayers go out to all families coping with children facing addiction."

The Agent X actress was spotted Tuesday (Nov.19) in Paris and has yet to release any personal statement of her brother Michael Stone's son, Colin.

Colin's death happened roughly nine days ago as Radar reports that Colin was found dead on Nov. 10 in his Hollywood apartment. Ed Winter of the L.A. County Coroner's office told the website that he was found, "during a welfare check by his apartment manager" and that his death was recorded as a "possible overdose, pending toxicology reports."

A source tells Radar that "years ago, she helped Colin's dad — her brother, Michael, get his life back on track after serving time for selling [drugs]." Adding that, "Michael was able to escape a life of drugs. Unfortunately, his son was not so lucky."

The 56-year-old actress brother Michael, 59, was reportedly in jail for possession of a kilo of cocaine.

Stone was born in Meadville, Pennsylvania, and is the second of four children.
