Have ABC banned the behinds of Iggy Azalea and Jennifer Lopez? While booty is on the mind of everyone at moment, apparently the mere thought of two of them appearing on TV has sent the network into a shame spiral. The superstars are reportedly being told they're not allowed to rub their famous derrières together during this weekend's American Music Awards performance of Lopez's hit, "Booty", which Azalea guests on. The network are seemingly scared of the pair's performance being too raunchy for TV, and given their, well, assets, it's hard not to imagine that being the case. Because, um... Did ABC even watch J-Lo's clip before booking her?

TMZ report that the ban cam down from on high, with ABC executives super freaked out at the prospect of two grown women repeating an action they've previously done and that has been appreciated by audiences around the world already. Spin are also reporting that execs are "terrified" at the prospect of showing Azalea and Lopez going in for a spot of asset rubbing.

Says TMZ, ABC have decreed that there will be "no cracks, no rubbing," and that even though the AMAs will be running on "a 3-4 second delay",  it might not help, "as these shows have a rich history of raunchy performances slipping through ... the cracks."

What it does prompt, however, is a sense of confusion, as with the network so uptight about cracks and rubbing, they reportedly haven't banned spanking! TMZ go on to say "We're told ABC has not put the kibosh on spanking ... something fairly prominent in the music video. But that's as sexual as execs will allow."

Azalea has had a monster year and leads the AMA nominations race with a total haul of six noms - ahead of Katy Perry, Pharrell and John Legend with five each - but has also been the center of attention this week due to Eminem dropping sexual assault rhymes about the Australian rapper in outtakes from his new Shady XV album.

Lopez, meanhwile, was recently confirmed as the inspiration behing Sir Mix-A-Lot's 1992 hit "Baby Got Back". 22 years on that 'back' is still causing havoc.

You can check out the (presumably) lacking in butts AMAs on ABC this Sunday, Nov. 23, at 8 p.m. EST.
