Is Rihanna about to heat up the halls of the White House? Well, it definitely seems that way, as it's more than likely the starlet could be brushing shoulders with Kerry Washington on the ABC drama Scandal. The idea seems to be inspired by the singer's most recent trip to the nation's capital, where she posted pictures to her Instagram account and captioned each photo, paying homage to the ABC series. During her visit/photo shoot, RiRi channeled her inner Scandal characters, including Olivia Pope (Washington) and Abby Whelan (Darby Stanchfield).

The singer posted the following pictures to her Instagram from her fun-filled trip:

E! News caught up with the singer during MAC Cosmetic's red carpet last night, where the makeup brand premiered the new documentary It's Not Over as part of its MAC AID Fund event.

When asked about the trip that she took last week to Washington, D.C., the news site asked whether she would ever want to have a guest role on the ABC political drama.

"I love Scandal! Are you kidding?" she said, when asked about the spot. "We'll see — I would love that." She added, "I just love Scandal, period."

Rihanna even had some suggestions as to who she should play should the guest spot actually happen. When the news site suggested that she play a "badass secretary of state, the "Stay" singer seemed all for the idea.

"Duh! That's amazing," the singer said. "Let's make it happen!"

While we might have to wait a little bit to see if this actually will come to fruition, the show will air an all-new episode tonight on ABC at 9 p.m.
