If you and Kate Upton were spotted on the Kiss Cam, would you kiss her? Upton's boyfriend Justin Verlander, the All-Star Detroit Tigers pitcher, appeared to have missed his chance. He hesitated Tuesday night at the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, just long enough for the Cavaliers mascot — named Moon Dog, according to Yahoo! Sports — to land a few wet ones on the Sports Illustrated super model.

Upton and Verlander, along with New York Yankees pitcher CC Sabathia, were sitting courtside in Cleveland to watch Lebron James and the Cavaliers, who topped the Milwaukee Bucks in a 111-108 comeback win, according to ESPN.

Verlander, who went 15-12 last season for the Detroit Tigers and Sabathia, who missed most of 2014 due to injury, have won two Cy Young Awards between them.

Verlander was the American League Most Valuable Player in 2011.

All-hardware courtside rows are usually reserved for NBA cities like New York and Los Angeles, as the Knicks and Lakers both have droves of famous fans. But Lebron's return to Cleveland this year now has stars flocking to his Rust Belt arena.

The Big Lead reported that Cleveland Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel was also in attendance Tuesday night.

Sabathia has Cleveland ties, having pitched for the Indians for eight seasons. Verlander, it could be said, was behind enemy lines, as the Indians are division rivals of his Tigers.

Upton, 22, is from Michigan and graced the cover of Sports Illustrated in its 2012 and 2013 swimsuit editions.

The Moon Dog couldn't help himself, landing not one, not two, but three kisses on Upton. Right in front of Verlander.

Classic Moon Dog.
