CC Sabathia Throws Tirade In Toronto [WATCH]

CC Sabathia is having one of the worst years in his career. With the New York Yankees he's 4-9 with a 5.23 ERA. It's a horrible slump for a guy with a lifetime era of 3.70 and has accumulated a total of 212 wins. Things got a little worse for Sabathia Monday night after TMZ posted footage of him shouting at hecklers outside a nightclub. If Brian Cashman is being truthful and the Yankees don't sign Scherzer, then they are clearly not contenders. Cashman said recently that Scherzer's asking price of $200 million is too high. Who are these Yankees? When is any price tag too high? Maybe its the Yankees that have learned from disastrous deals they've made with free agents in the past. Those mistakes stare them in the face every day: Mark Teixiera from first base, Alex Rodriguez from third, or the bench, or the front page of the tabloids, CC Sabathia from the snack stand. The Yankees are filled with aging, expensive players who are well past their prime (and we haven't even mentioned Carlos Beltran). Once upon a time CC Sabathia was a force to be reckoned with in the MLB. Dominating mainly fir the Cleveland Indians and the New York Yankees. While rival pitchers such as David Price and John Lackey are dominating the headlines, Sabathia is sadly injured and will miss the rest of the 2014 MLB season. However, he will be back and ready to go for the 2015 season, possibly better than ever before.
