Jerry Seinfeld has spoken out about comedy legend's Bill Cosby's sexual assault allegations, saying that the situation around his comedian friend is "sad and incomprehensible" while on the red carpet for the premiere of Chris Rock's new movie Top Five. As stars gathered for the premiere and comedian friends such as Cedric the Entertainer also expressed their worry, new allegations from three women about Cosby emerged.

Speaking to People, Seinfeld explained his reaction to the news regarding Cosby, saying, "I was very upset, very upset. Still upset. I don't know what to make of it, but it's just upsetting."

"It's sad and incomprehensible," he told Entertainment Tonight online, which also reported on another veteran comedian, Soul Man star Cedric the Entertainer, calling the situation about Cosby an "unfortunate scenario," saying that "if the allegations have any truth to them, you want the truth to come out. You want justification for all the people. That's all you can really say."

As People reported, "More than a dozen women have come forward claiming that Cosby, 77, star of The Cosby Show, drugged and sexually abused them."

ET online provide a timeline breakdown of the women and what they alleged happened across a timespan from the 1960s through to 2004, while three more women came forward with allegations last night, said People, demanding a $100 million fund for the alleged victims.

Rock didn't speak about the Cosby allegations while promoting his new film — in which he plays a comedian trying to make his way as an actor — but told New York magazine in a cover profile this week, "I don't know what to say. What do you say? I hope it's not true. That's all you can say. I really do. I grew up on Cosby. I love Cosby, and I just hope it's not true. It's a weird year for comedy. We lost Robin [Williams], we lost Joan [Rivers] and we kind of lost Cosby."

Cosby's lawyer has denied all the claims and directly refuted the claims from Janice Dickinson, while Cosby himself tweeted out thanks to those who have supported him, such as Jill Scott:
