What Does the Son in Tim Allen's "The Santa Clause" Look Like Now? - Little Charlie Calvin (Played by Eric Lloyd) Is All Grown Up!

The Santa Clause, which includes actors Tim Allen who played Scott Calvin (AKA Santa Clause) and his son, Charlie Calvin, played by Eric Lloyd, is a yearly treat for many. But whatever happened to little Charlie Calvin?

The bright-eyed kid in The Santa Clause, The Santa Clause 2 and The Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause hasn't been as busy in front of the camera as his on-screen father, Tim Allen. Lloyd has had roles in the TV series About Abby as Xander Falls (in 2011) and played the role of Kyle in a TV mini-series, True Perfection. Despite all of that, his claim to fame is still as Charlie Calvin! But who can blame him? He was perfect in his role!

Did you know that just before filming, Lloyd lost his front teeth while playing on a boulder?

"There was this giant boulder that I was climbing on and I went to jump down from one to jump up to the next one and my foot got caught and I fell face first...and knocked my four front teeth loose," he told The Biography Chanel in an interview.  So like any good set producer, they designed a plate for his two front teeth. If you look carefully in the movie you can see his real teeth in one scene and the fake teeth in another.

Back in the 90s, when the first Santa Clause installment came out, fans of the movie knew Lloyd as a brown haired wide-eyed kid that supported his father at all costs. One can say he held the true spirit of Christmas. We got to see Charlie Calvin grow up throughout the years as the directors and executive producers used him until the third Santa Clause trilogy in 2006.

Santa gave Lloyd a great gift, a degree from Chapman University with a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Film Production. Since then he has been working mainly behind the camera.
