This one gets filed under the rumor category until further notice, but the folks at Badass Digest are back with some potentially major scoops on the plot of Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice. Once again, these are just rumors until proven otherwise.

[WARNING: POTENTIAL SPOILERS AHEAD]

The site reports the movie opens with Batman's origin story. We've seen photos of what was pretty clearly the death of Bruce Wayne's parents, so keep that in mind. The film then moves to Bruce Wayne as he arrives in Metropolis during the titanic battle between Superman and General Zod in Man of Steel.

The plot then reportedly jumps ahead a few years, with Superman living with Lois Lane and having a full-time job at The Daily Planet. Clark gets an assignment to cover a football game between Metropolis and Gotham City, which prompts Clark to want to write about Batman.

Badass Digest also says the movie explores how the world views Superman in the wake of Man of Steel. Superman shows up in the Middle East to help Lois, but this results in a bit of an international incident. The film also reportedly references the events of Man of Steel when Superman tells a villain "I won't snap your neck. I'm going to take you to prison." But he later threatens to break his back when he gets angry!

Finally, the site reports that when Superman fights Doomsday, General Stanwick "tells the military that Superman will move the battle away from populated areas because he's a hero, and that's what heroes do." The world largely views Superman as a hero, but Lex Luthor clearly doesn't trust him, and neither does Batman, who creates weapons to combat the Kryptonian.
