Bill Cosby's Wife and Daughter Finally Break Silence About Rape Allegations, Saying "He Is The FATHER You Thought You Knew" [DETAILS]

If no one else has Bill Cosby's back, his wife Camille and daughter Evin do. MStars News has learned that the family of America's favorite TV dad is finally breaking their silence about the rape allegations levied against the actor.

MStars News has been keeping you informed with all the latest details as more and more women come forth, claiming that the comedian and actor raped them decades ago.

In a new statement, both Camille and her daughter, Evin, are defending the former Cosby Show star.

"He is a kind man, a generous man, a funny man," Cosby's wife Camille stated. She adds, "A different man has been portrayed in the media over the last two months. It is the portrait of a man I do not know."

The full statement, reported by CBS read:

"I met my husband, Bill Cosby, in 1963, and we were married in 1964. The man I met, and fell in love with, and whom I continue to love, is the man you all knew through his work," she begins. "He is a kind man, a generous man, a funny man, and a wonderful husband, father and friend. He is the man you thought you knew."

"A different man has been portrayed in the media over the last two months. It is the portrait of a man I do not know. It is also a portrait painted by individuals and organizations whom many in the media have given a pass. There appears to be no vetting of my husband's accusers before stories are published or aired. An accusation is published, and immediately goes viral."

"We all followed the story of the article in Rolling Stone concerning allegations of rape at the University of Virginia. The story was heart-breaking, but ultimately appears to be proved to be untrue," she says. "Many in the media were quick to link that story to stories about my husband - until that story unwound."

"None of us will ever want to be in the position of attacking a victim," she concludes. "But the question should be asked - who is the victim?"

Cosby's accusers includes, supermodel Beverly Johnson, Carla Ferrigno, Joan Tarshi, Tamara Green, Janice Dickinson, Lachelle Covington, and many more.

Camille and Bill have been married for 50 years. They wed when she was only 19 after being set up on a blind date. After she dropped out of college to get married, her parents reluctantly gave their blessing for the union, according to The Star.com.

The Cosby's, who have 5 children total, one deceased, ( Ennis William Cosby, 27) have the support of their daughter Evin during this terrible time.

According to Access Hollywood, Evin stated:

"He is the FATHER you thought you knew. The Cosby Show was my today's tv reality show. Thank you. That's all I would like to say :)."

She has also been active stating her opionion on her Facebook page, and thanks all the fans, and supporters who love her family.

Cosby's daughter wrote:

"I would like to thank EVERYONE that has been sharing, voicing and putting their beautiful positive energy out there for me and my family. There will always be jealous, vengeful and crazy people out there to break anyone down. Everyday we wake up and appreciate the love and support from everyone. There's more positive in life then we think. It's the BS that can be overwhelming. We keep fighting each day. The challenges in life can only make us stronger. The ones that are angry can't live as easy as the ones that can love, RESPECT and not to find the easy way out by making FALSE accusations. It's a shame how some people sit behind the computer waiting for bad things to happen to someone. Isn't it easier to be happy? And to want the best for someone that has done such great things in life? It could be a friend, a family or a pet.... Just be HAPPY! It's waaaaay easier. Thank you again!"

According to CNN, Camille Cosby talked to Oprah about her relationship to Bill Cosby. She said:

"...you look at each other and determine whether the relationship is worth salvaging whether you really love each other and want to be together."

The couple vowed to stay together despite the world of Hollywood and it seems that Camille is standing by that commitment.
