MStars News has learned that boxing champion Floyd Mayweather paid for rapper Earl Hayes's funeral, which was held Saturday, Dec. 20.

According to Hip Hollywood, Mayweather felt that it was only right to pay his respects by giving his friend and Hayes's family a "proper funeral, despite the horrific thing he did."

MStars News previously revealed that Hayes shot and killed his wife, Hit the Floor dancer Stephanie Moseley, Monday, Dec. 8, before killing himself.

MStars News has also learned that Stephanie's funeral was held in Canada, Friday, Dec. 19. Details are unknown if Mayweather contributed to Moseley's funeral.

We previously reported that a fund was set up in honor of the late dancer, as family, friends and fans gave money to help Moseley's mother pay for her daughter's funeral.

We took a look at the Stephanie Moseley Memorial Fund, on gofundme.com, and at least 124 people gave close to $22,000 at the time of this writing.

MStars News has also learned through multiple sources that Floyd was on FaceTime with Earl as he plotted to kill Moseley. Hayes called Mayweather in a rage, revealing that he was upset about Moseley's extramarital affairs as the boxing champ advised Hayes to get a divorce, not kill himself.

Hayes didn't listen to his friend's words and killed Moseley with a shotgun while she was taking a bath, and then turned the gun on himself.

According to TMZ, Mayweather did talk with LAPD after hearing his friend's horrific murder-suicide and told the police that he did try to do all he could, telling Hayes not to kim himself.

"Floyd told detectives after Hayes shot his wife, he came back to the phone and continued talking with Floyd. The boxer says Hayes said he was going to shoot himself and Mayweather pleaded with him ... to no avail," the gossip site reported.

Man I'm n so much shock!!!!!!!!
