Ellen DeGeneres & Wife Portia De Rossi Marriage In Trouble Following Kim Kardashian-Inspired 'Break The Internet' Holiday Card?

Ellen star Ellen DeGeneres and wife Portia de Rossi released their 'cheeky' Christmas card, emulating Kim Kardashian's naked 'Break The Internet' Paste Magazine cover for the holidays, but now they're putting aside rumors of fighting. Wishing everybody "Happy Holidays And a Shiny New Year," the talk show host and star of Scandal are pictured in the now-classic Kardashian pose, with their photoshopped heads on Kardashian's famous rear. That's not all: on her show Ellen wished her audience "a shiny new rear." How droll.

It comes after reports of the couple having a "heated argument" while they attended a joyous Christmas party "at the home of her producer, Andy Lassner." According to Star Magazine, after heading to the kitchen, Ellen "saw Portia smoking" and, even though Portia apparently apologized, the pair were "bickering so loudly that the entire party heard what was going on."  

Star Magazine say that after "Portia screamed at Ellen", other guests ran into the kitchen to make sure everything was ok. According to the fellow guest, it was "definitely awkward", and the fight ruined the party. 

Ouch! 

But perhaps it's simply a case of the usual relationship ups and downs, as according to Entertain This, the pair recently bought a new house in Los Angeles. And considering that Portia is appearing on Ellen on Monday, things are more than likely fine! 

And judging from Ellen's twitter, it's all going to be ok:

Happy Boxing Day! Portia got up early and put everything in boxes. Hilarious. She even hired a truck. You know what... I think we're moving.

The card is, according to People Magazine, part of a joint venture between Ellen and Shutterfly "to donate money to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and the Humane Society." Happy shiny new year indeed!
