One thing is for sure when it comes to Kenny Smith hilariously pushing Shaquille O'Neal into a Christmas tree live on the NBA TNT Halftime Show: That was no flop!

Shaq went hard and fast into the Christmas tree, almost taking it out and scattering ornaments on the way.

"Alright, Ken," Shaq kept repeated after the 6-foot-3 former point guard took down the 7-foot NBA legend. Shaq's playing weight fluctuated around 325 pounds, according to Bleacher Report, meaning Smith couldn't have accidentally nudged the big fella like he tried to play it off like he did. "Alright, Ken, alright."

"This means war!" Shaq shouted when he finally got up.

The rest of the set cracked up at the aftermath of what started as an innocent race to the on-set Christmas tree (for whatever reason), and America enjoyed it as well, with Twitter exploding with laughter.

Apparently, Smith was trying to show the need to play tough in the NBA, according to USA Today. Looks like the Queens, NY, native mistook that with dirty this time.

"Why did you try to box me out!?" Smith joked through tears of laughter, as Shaq rolled around on the ground.

Shaq tumbled headfirst over what could have been used as a wall of wrapped presents and into the green thickets of the tree's bosom.

Unfortunately for him (and awesome for us), Shaq has a history of inhospitable Christmas tree encounters. Remember three years ago, when Miami Heat forward Chris Bosh pranked the Big Aristotle by pushing a tree onto Shaq in an on-air ambush? Messed up stuff. Severely messed up. But the big fella always gets up smiling.

"That's messed up," Shaq said after the first prank. You think he'd see them coming by now!
