Did 'RHOA' Star Phaedra Parks Let Her Sons Visit Their Father, Apollo Nida, In Prison Over Christmas? [DETAILS]

With 2015 approaching, we know one celebrity who's probably glad to see a new clean slate in the new year. MStars News has been covering the ups and downs of Phaedra Parks as her marriage comes to an end after her husband, Apollo Nida, was sent back to prison for fraud earlier this year.

MStars News previously reported that Nida is serving eight years in a Kentucky prison, while Phaedra raises the couple's two sons Dylan and Ayden.

It was reported that Parks was ready to file for a divorce from her estranged husband after he began going out before he went to prison. At times it seemed like Nida also wanted to end his marriage after Phaedra was "MIA" during his sentencing, showing no support for her man during his rough time with the law.

As time flew by, we learned Phaedra had no intention on taking the boys to see their father while he served time, but earlier this month it appeared Phaedra had a change of heart.

We previously reported that Parks was seen coming from the airport as TMZ cameras rolled up on her, asking if she was going to let her two boys see their father for the holidays.

"You know what, I would love to," the lawyer and reality star said at the time. She also revealed that she had "sent him a Christmas card and everything ... I speak to him all the time."

Now it seems Phaedra's heart has changed once again.

According to Reality Tea, Parks decided to stay at home in Atlanta and spend the holidays without taking her sons to see their dad.

Phaedra let the boys talk to their dad on the phone Christmas Day, as one source said. Christmas was "all about her sons" and "logistically" a long ride to Kentucky was not what was best for them at this time. Remember: Their sons are under 5.

Phaedra's rep claims Dylan and Ayden talk to their father frequently.

"Phaedra lets the boys talk with their father anytime and every time he calls," her rep Steve Honig said to Radar Online. "Phaedra also has the boys write him letters and draw him pictures, which she sends to him. She goes out of her way to enable the boys to communicate with their father, and anyone who says otherwise is lying."​

Visiting Apollo isn't compeletly out of the plans, but visits will have to be scheduled due to Ayden's school schedule. Phaedra's eldest son's currently in pre-school.

As for Phaedra and Apollo, it seems the love is really lost as Phaedra continues to make plans to divorce her husband as he fights for marital financial assets.
