Doug Gotterba Sympathizes With John Travolta's Wife Kelly Preston

Doug Gotterba is the self-professed gay partner of John Travolta way back before Travolta married his current wife Kelly Preston.  Travolta has been caught in the midst of several scandals in the past year though several of them later dropped.  Gotterba  who is strongly fighting for his story recently expressed that he felt bad for Preston.  

Travolta's camp has endlessly denied all the rumors and allegations of Travolta's gay relationship with Gotterba, however he is not giving up just yet.

Gotterba claimed that Travolta courted him back in 1981 at a Monterey California resort where the former pilot revealed that he was treated to a nice dinner and more.

"As we walked from the restaurant back to the room, John suddenly said, 'Hey, would you like a massage?' I'd already prepared myself for something like that, so I said, 'Sure, why not? I went back to his room, showered and came out wearing only a towel. John said, 'Okay, like down here on the bed.' He gave me a massage - and it turned into something else!" Gotterba gushed.

It sounds like Gotterba enjoyed his alleged affair with Travolta.

"John was gentle, but very passionate. The next day, he told me with a big smile on his face, 'I really enjoyed last night.' And I told him, 'So did I!"

They had a long lasting affair until Travolta stepped into marriage with Preston.

What Gotterba remembers of their last meeting was that Travolta confused that he still preferred men though he was married.

"They'd just gotten back from the Church of Scientology's Celebrity Center in Hollywood when I arrived and John asked me to go with him for a walk on the beach. We were making small talk when suddenly, I blurted out, 'So, John, tell me. Now that you're married, do you still prefer men - or women?' He looked me straight in the eye and said, 'Well, Doug, I still prefer men!' I said, 'okay.' And that's the last time we saw each other," the pilot shared.

Gotterba also said, "I feel bad for Kelly, she's obviously in the middle of it.. How can you not be aware of it?" regarding his meeting with Travolta.  

Photos of Preston and Travolta seem to depict a very loving and sweet American couple.  It will be interesting to see how the story will continue to unfold.
