Miley Cyrus and new boyfriend Patrick Schwarzenegger have been hanging out with Patrick's dad, Terminator Genisys star and former Californian governor Arnold, who reportedly approves of his son's Bangerz star girlfriend. "The Wrecking Ball" singer is proving anything but in her relationship with the 23 year old USC student, who she has been dating since November, after calling off her engagement to Hunger Games star and ex-boyfriend Liam Hemsworth in late 2013. So... Does Miley have Gubernatorial support?
During the holidays the pair have been hanging out in Ketchum, Idaho, with Patrick's father and bunch of Patrick's buddies. And Expendables star Arnold, it turns out, is down with Miley.
According to US Weekly, a source told the magazine that "Arnold knows his place as father."
They continued, adding: "He's happy for Patrick and was thrilled that Patrick introduced him to Miley."
It runs contrary to reports that Arnold wasn't in favor of party girl Miley hooking up with his son, but that seems to have to been put to rest.
Patrick had been off having fun with his family for Christmas, posting photos of himself and his mum, the Kennedy clan's Maria Shriver, in terrifying matching pajamas:

But then hooked up with Miley in Idaho. Also chilling out in Idaho are Patrick and his his buds, with US Weekly's source adding "Patrick always brings a huge crew of his friends."
And having a pop superstar tends to liven things up. "Having Miley around has added a little spice to the usual vacation, though," the source explained.

Over Christmas, meanwhile, Miley posted a photo to Instagram of her in her brand new pizza pajamas, stating that she has "da best bf eva."
As for Miley's potential future father-in-law Arnold, he's obviously been busy since the end of his gubernatorial reign, jumping straight back into the spinning rotorblades of the Terminator franchise. Check out the Terminator: Genisys trailer below:
