It seems that Katy Perry did one of the dumbest things one human could imagine. She rode the New York City subway on New Years Eve. And while that may not seem like a huge deal to some, those who have experienced any part of New York on New Year's Eve realize that the subway is basically just a trap filled with drunken New Year's celebrators possibly emitting either odors of alcohol or actual vomit. And let's not even get into the fact that riding the subway on New Year's Eve is practically an invitation for gropes and inappropriate touching ... because we've all got to squeeze onto that car, right? Regardless, the former girlfriend to John Mayer was able to somehow ride New York's A train in style following word that she'll be the 2015 Super Bowl Halftime Show and those rather not-so-nice rumors surrounding Taylor Swift's 1989 track "Bad Blood." How do we know? Because the "Roar" singer was kind enough to post a picture to Instagram.

"A train squad game stronge," captioned Perry alongside a photo of her and a group of friends on the A train. Most of whom donned in sunglasses (inside ... away from the sun) and oh, so serious glances.

Check out the New Year's Eve post from Mayer's beau and Swift's beef-maker below:
