When it comes to dream casting scenarios, we know that plenty of you Star Wars fans out there are hoping for a number of stars to appear in The Force Awakens and the other films coming after 2015, but this week we learn of three new cast members that joined the J.J. Abrams film - and we should be very excited. The Raid: Redemption and its sequel, The Raid 2: Berandal, are easily two of the most violent, action-packed films of recent time, with the main cast performing a number of the stunts to make the action look very, very real. With that in mind, we'd like to tell you that three of the stars from The Raid 2, Iko Uwais, Yayan Ruhian, and Cecep Arif Rahman, have now joined Episode VII.

This news comes from TwitchFilm (via IGN and Slash Film), which is a pretty credible source when it comes to The Raid and news around the project. The publication's editor, Todd Brown, served as a producer on the two Raid movies, so we can just consider this news confirmed, right?

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Abrams stated in the past that practical rather than digital effects would play a major role in The Force Awakens. With that in mind, martial arts experts such as the ones that were just hired onto the film will make for amazing action and fighting sequences.

Basically, the only thing on our minds is what side these stars will be on - the light or the dark? They can definitely make for some cool Jedis, but the Sith can throw down as well, wouldn't you say? We're not sure what characters they will portray, but we're just excited to know that they're involved.
