Old News Surfaces: John Legend Allegedly Gay? 2015 Rumors Start Flying One Week After New Year's. Geesh! [DETAILS]

Where do they get this stuff? Will MediaTakeOut ever give celebrities a break? MStars News has learned that the infamous gossip site is starting up its share of rumors by claiming that John Legend, Chrissy Teigen's husband, is gay!

According to The Gossip Cop, the site claims that usually reports on the negative side of journalism decided to make up a story that Legend has been on the down-low for sometime.

Gossip Cop says that MTO wrote: "Y'all Are NOT Gonna Convince Us That Singer JOHN LEGEND Is STRAIGHT... He Was On TV Yesterday... Wearing MORE MAKEUP THAN A DRAG QUEEN!!!"

This isn't the first time Legend has been questioned about his sexuality, but the singer has slammed those allegations and doesn't need to explain himself again!

And as for those outrageous "drag queen" quotes: Just because a man wears makeup doesn't mean he's gay, and if you're a journalist, just like MTO claims to be, then you know makeup helps while people are on camera! Duh!

Gossip Cop claims that MTO adds, "John Legend and Common were both on Good Morning America yesterday. Common looked regular... but John called in Beyoncé's MAKEUP GUY to fully beat his face. That man got some TANG in him.... we promise you..."

No one probably knew that Legend had makeup on — heck, even the news anchors and Common probably had a bit of powder on as well during Monday, Jan. 5's episode of GMA.

Now let's turn this ridiculous story into something positive!

John Legend and Common appeared on GMA to promote the upcoming and anticipated film Selma. The duo performed their hit theme song "Glory," which is heard in the new film's trailer.
