When it comes to dark comedies, there's no telling what we can expect from the movie. In director Marjane Satrapi's The Voices, Ryan Reynolds plays a man that is going through some mental problems and can also talk to animals. Sounds pretty funny already, right? Well add in some murder, decapitation and a doomed love life and you have the makings of one of 2015's most bizarre films. This week, we were treated to the first trailer for the film, which also stars Gemma Arterton and Anna Kendrick. Watch this preview video below!

Right from the start of this trailer, we notice that Reynolds' character has some social communication issues. Luckily for him, Ann Kendrick still wants to go out on a date with him. Getting his hopes up in his love life make for interesting conversations with his pets, though. That's right, his cat makes him second-guess pretty much every thought he has while his dog tries to encourage his happiness. Reynolds provides the voices for each animal, too! This turns into a bad series of events, starting with the accidental murder of Arterton's character. Woops!

Not only do his pets talk to him, but now the decapitated head of his victim that he keeps in his refrigerator is laying on the guilt whenever he opens the door. Talk about bad luck!

From there, Reynolds has to deal with his mounting psychological problems, attend therapy and try not to scare away his new girlfriend. Hopefully his pets can share some good advice with him through this turmoil!
