NBC's 'Constantine' Spoilers: Will Mark Margolis' Felix Faust Fight Matt Ryan's John Constantine For Chas? [WATCH]

With the show back from its winter break and in its new time slot, NBC airs an all-new episode of their supernatural drama, Constantine. Based on the popular DC Comics horror title, will John Constantine (Matt Ryan) fight Felix Faust (Mark Margolis) for the life of Chas (Charles Halford)' dying daughter?

Based on the Hellblazer title from Vertigo Comics, Constantine (Ryan) is an occult detective, charismatic ladies man, and con artist all put together. Though he wants to do some good, the troubled anti-hero walks a fine line between dark magic and obsession. In his trademark fashion, Constantine steps out into the world wearing a white dress shirt, a faded trench coat, and lights up a cigarette whenever the dark forces approach.

As we previously mentioned, the Breaking Bad actor guest stars as the DC Comics super villain. upcoming episode. Banished to another dimension, Felix was released from his prison after Dekan Drache opened up a portal. He then destroyed Drache's soul and took possession of his body. Constantine has had run-ins with Faust in the recent Justice League Dark comics.

Margolis makes his debut as the DC super villain in Quid Pro Quo on Jan. 23.

Ryan reveals to TV Line, "John has a previous relationship with Felix Faust, but he doesn't know that Felix Faust is responsible for the goings-on in Brooklyn and New York. The episode really is about Chas' backstory, and how Chas came about his powers then, and John's relationship early on with Chas."

The Constantine actor adds, "We have a little flashback which explains a few things about Chas and John and that relationship. Also, [we learn about] John's relationship with Chas' family and Chas' wife not liking John enough and how they have to negotiate that. We really do dig into Chas' backstory a little bit and get underneath all of that."
