New downloadable contact has been included in the Ubisoft music videogame, Rocksmith 2014 Edition. Join in on the jam sessions and learn how to play the most popular songs from Motörhead, Dio, Styx, Rick Derringer, and Warrant in the Classic Riff Singles DLC Pack.

Intended more as a teaching tool than an original game, Rocksmith offers up to more than 85 lessons. Each session covers a variety of areas from bends, accents, slides, and more. Also included is a tool that will teach the player how to position their fingers. You can plug any electric guitar or bass into your PC, Mac, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, or PlayStation 3 system.

Released on the IGN Youtube Account, the caption states, "Learn to play Rainbow In The Dark by Dio, Ace Of Spades by Motörhead, Renegade by Styx, Rock And Roll, Hoochie Koo by Rick Derringer and Cherry Pie by Warrant."

According to the official site, a list of all the songs are available on the ultimate Rocksmith library. All downloads listed on the page are available for purchase. If you are a huge fan of the grunge/rock band Soundgarden, there's also a 5-song pack you can buy and start riffing to.

The site also states, "Please note all DLC from the original Rocksmith is forward compatible, but future DLC will not work with the original game as we've added new techniques and sensitivities it does not support."

Because this is more of a teaching game, you'll be able to play the tunes like a real guitarist. This isn't about making the note to the specific colors to get to the highest score.
