Emma Watson is about to cast her spell on us all over again. The Harry Potter star has just announced that she will be joining the live-action version of Disney's Beauty and the Beast. The film studio has been on the live-action remake trend for the last few years, rolling out films like Alice in Wonderland, Maleficent and the upcoming production of Cinderella. But it looks like Watson is going to be the one stealing the spotlight, as she is gearing up to play the worldly French ingénue who falls in love with a beast as well as sing and dance.

The star took to her Facebook page to excitedly announce the news to her more than 29 million fans, and she even confirmed that she would be singing and dancing in the flick.

"I'm finally able to tell you... that I will be playing Belle in Disney's new live-action Beauty and the Beast!" the actress wrote. "It was such a big part of my growing up, it almost feels surreal that I'll get to dance to 'Be Our Guest' and sing 'Something There.' My six year old self is on the ceiling- heart bursting. Time to start some singing lessons. I can't wait for you to see it."

We can already picture her singing "Bonjour" as she strolls around some quaint French town.

The Hollywood Reporter also confirmed the news, stating that the flick would be directed by The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn mastermind Bill Condon. Mandeville Films, David Hoberman and Todd Lieberman will be producing the film, which is expected to start production sometime this year.

A released date has yet to be announced, but for all those Disney fans who simply are too antsy to wait, there is good news for you, as the live-action retelling of Cinderella will hit theaters in a little more than a month.
