Patrick Demspey's marriage to his wife of 15-years might have gone down in flames, but better it than him right? The Grey's Anatomy actor and his wife shocked the world when they announced their divorce earlier this month, but it is now being revealed that there was one habit of Pat's that his wife Jillian Fink couldn't seem to get used to. Dempsey's passion for high-speed car races is reportedly what caused a wedge between the two.

According to Radar Online, Jillian says Patrick's hobby was something that was cutting into their family time together.

"Jillian often complained to friends that Patrick would be unavailable to attend their children's activities," a source said of the actor. It wasn't only the racing that cut into family time but also the "grueling filming schedule," for Grey's, "with fifteen hour days" being "very common."

It wasn't only the fact that the sport is very time-consuming, but also the worry that something could happen to Dempsey that caused Fink to rethink their marriage.

"Jillian was constantly worried Patrick would become injured while driving," the insider explained. "Those cars go so fast, and that also added to the stress of the marriage."

Dempsey spoke to the Associated Press a few days before his divorce became public knowledge, and he talked about being spread to thin by all of his commitments.

"It would be nice to be one-pointed and not spread so thin sometimes," the star revealed. "I think where I'm going is to really streamline and be much more specific in balancing things a little bit better than I have in the past."

Do you think that Patrick was foreshadowing his divorce in his statement?
