The CW's Arrow airs with a brand new Season 3 episode tonight, but fans received an extra treat today in the news that the Suicide Squad would return later this season and would receive its own episode.

ETOnline exclusively reported that Suicide Squad members would return in Episode 17, entitled "Suicidal Tendencies." A.R.G.U.S. chief Amanda Waller will be in the episode, along with Deadshot and newcomer Cupid, whom we last saw earlier in Season 3. Bronze Tiger will not be in the episode, nor will Shrapnel, who was killed off the show.

Corrupt politician Senator Cray, played by Steven Culp, will also debut in the episode.

In case you missed it, the official description for tonight's episode, "Midnight City," has been released. It seems like this will be a packed episode despite the absence of Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell). Based on the description, Laurel suits up as the Black Canary, Roy and Diggle are in action, Ray helps the police battle Brick (guest star Vinnie Jones) and Malcolm continues to scheme. Check out the description in full:

"SUIT UP - Arsenal (Colton Haynes) and Diggle (David Ramsey) confront Laurel (Katie Cassidy) about trying to step into her sister's shoes and warn her to stop before she gets herself killed. However, when Brick (guest star Vinnie Jones) kidnaps the city's Aldermen and threatens to kill them all unless the police evacuate The Glades, it's all suits on deck. Meanwhile, Ray (Brandon Routh) steps in to help Lance (Paul Blackthorne) and the police force fight Brick, showing Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) a new side of her boss. Malcom (John Barrowman) tells Thea (Willa Holland) that Ra's al Ghul (Matt Nable) is after him and his family and they must leave town immediately. Nick Copus directed the episode written by Wendy Mericle & Ben Sokolowski."
