WNBA Couple Brittney Griner and Glory Johnson Endure Challenges While Picking out a Wedding Dress, but the Couple Ultimately 'Say Yes To The Dress' [WATCH]

Brittney Griner and Glory Johnson are getting hitched! The engaged WNBA couple will be featured on Friday’s episode of the TLC reality series Say Yes To The Dress.

MStars News previously reported that the couple got engaged last year and now they are prepping for their big day.

Griner plays for the Phoenix Mercury, as her soon-to-be wife, Johnson, plays for the Tulsa Shock. You would think since the ladies are WNBA rivals that they would be nice in the fitting rooms of the Atlanta bridal shop, but think again.

"Brittney and Glory are WNBA superstars," store owner Lori Allen says, and Monte, the store's director says, "competition is in their blood."

Allen adds, "when you bring that competition to the bridal floor, the only one who risks losing, is the bride."

During the clip below, Johnson reveals that her sisters are the true fashionistas who are helping her find her perfect dress.

"When someone presents me with a challenge, I'm going to step up to the plate," Grace, Glory's sister said.

"Me on the court, I know exaclty what I'm doing," Brittney says. "Me on the bridal floor, not so much!"

The couple endured some ups and downs while trying on dresses, as Allen said: "I think the best teammate right now is her soulmate," as Brittney goes to check on her fiancée who seems to be having a challenge deciding on a dress.

Lori Allen thought the women would go for something not traditional and said, “I’m thinking maybe a pants suit. Boy was I wrong. Ultimately Glory was very traditional and was only interested in pleasing Brittney – like most other brides."
