Are these two ever going to get back together? We are hoping that Grey's Anatomy super couple doesn't channel Taylor Swift's hit single "We Are Never Getting Back Together" during the upcoming season 11 episodes. However, it looks like "Calazona" might be done for good, at least according to Jessica Capshaw, who plays pediatric surgeon Arizona Robbins on the ABC series. Also, question — who came up with the couple name Calazona, because that's just making us hungry, to be honest.

E! News caught up with Capshaw to ask what is ahead this season for Callie and Arizona and if there is a possible reconciliation in the cards for these former lovebirds.

"We have been playing our storyline for so long and it's been up and it's been down and it's been all around and I think the fall season finale, I hope that the episode just really showed that they need it," Capshaw explained of the duo calling it quits. "They got to a place where they were so stuck and so broken that the only way to go was to be apart."

The entertainment site asks if she thinks that there is hope for the power couple in the future.

"I don't know," the star explained. "I really don't know, so I can't even say that I'm hiding a secret!"

Speaking of breakups and makeups, creator Shonda Rhimes also teased to TVLine what is to become of Meredith Grey (Ellen Pompeo) now that neither Derek nor Cristina is around her.

"I said that this was 'the season of Meredith,'" the creator explained. "She is very much going to be tested by what happens. This will be the first time she's without Derek and Cristina, without any of those familiar supports, so this will be about her coming into her own, as a person and a surgeon."

New episodes of Grey's Anatomy return tonight at 8 p.m. on ABC.
