Marvel has announced their latest addition to their upcoming Netflix superhero series. Grey's Anatomy actress Rachael Taylor (Patricia Walker) now joins David Tennant (Killgrave), Krysten Ritter (Jessica Jones) and Mike Colter as Luke Cage in Marvel's A.K.A. Jessica Jones.
As we previously mentioned, Jessica Jones made her debut in the Alias series by Brian Michael Bendis (Miles Morales: Ultimate Spider-Man) and Michael Gaydos (The Pulse). Because she suffers from post-traumatic stress, Jones has given up on her superhero days and becomes the sole owner of Alias Private Investigations. The Netflix series follows the private eye as she investigates cases of the super-powered kind.

Marvel has announced that the Crisis actress will play Patricia "Patsy Trish" Walker, aka Hellcat. The syndicated radio talk show host, ex-model and former child TV star is known by her adoring fans as "Patsy" Walker. As Jessica Jones' closest friend, Trish helps her embark on the most dangerous case of private investigator's career.
Executive Producer/Showrunner Melissa Rosenberg states, "The character is a star and a powerhouse, and required an actress who is both. Rachael is all that and more!"
Jeph Loeb, Executive Producer and Marvel's Head of Television, adds, ""Rachael blew us away with her grounded, humanizing take on Trish, adding yet another layer to the complex, emotional story we're telling with this series."
We previously mentioned, the former Doctor Who will play the super villain, Zebediah Killgrave (The Purple Man). The Broadchurch actor previously appeared in the American remake, Gracepoint. Though Fox cancelled Gracepoint after its first season, thankfully viewers will still Tennant's acting abilities in another series.

Marvel's A.K.A. Jessica Jones will show up on Netflix sometime after Marvel's Daredevil.
