Richard Sherman is just a few days away from hopefully winning his second Super Bowl ring, and maybe a Super Bowl baby.

MStars News previously reported that the Seattle Seahawks cornerback is expecting his first child, a baby boy with his longtime girlfriend, Ashley Lillian Moss.

We also learned that Sherman's son is due sometime next week. During a quick chat with Inside Edition for media day, Sherman revealed that he is overjoyed about becoming a father.

"I don't know how you do it, you and your girlfriend are expecting a baby any day now, how are you feeling?" the reporter asks Sherman.

"I'm feeling pretty good. You got to be focused in this game so it's going to be a fun week for me," the football star says.

Sherman reveals that he does have a game plan if his girlfriend does go into labor during the Super Bowl on Sunday.

"You know, I got a couple of people on alert, we got a plan for in case things go bad, but everything should be fine." As he focuses on the the game Sunday, Sherman says the Seahawks need to "score more points."

If Sherman's son decides to come this weekend, we also learned that Ashley, at 9 months pregnant, did travel to Arizona for the game.

According to Sports Illustrated, Ashley is present in Arizona, so if her son decides to come he will be born in the state of Arizona verses the good state of Washington where his dad plays football.

Sherman didn't go into to detail on whether or not he'd miss the game for the birth of his son, but he did say:

"We'll cross that bridge when we get there," Sherman faithfully states. "We're not thinking about the possibility."

MStars News has its fingers crossed that Sherman will win the Super Bowl again, and have a Super Bowl baby after the game is over.

We can't wait to meet baby Sherman!
