Chelsea FC Signs Juan Cuadrado: EPL Standings Leaders Add Colombian Winger As Transfer Window Ends - Andre Schurrle Moves To VfL Wolfsburg

With the Barclays Premier League Transfer window now closed, the EPL standings leaders, Chelsea FC have acquired the young Colombian talent Juan Cuadrado, who this week officially singed on to play as a winger for the squad. With Cuadrado now on-board, Andre Schurrle has been traded to Bundisliga squad VfL Wolfsburg. Keep reading to finds out more about these players' transfers.

"I am very happy and thankful for this opportunity I've been given," Cuadrado said after signing his new contract. "This is a great club and honestly it is like a dream to join the Chelsea family and to know that the manager believes in me. I'm happy."

Meanwhile, Chelsea's Mohamed Salah joined Cuadrado's former squad, Fiorentina on loan until the end of the season.

"It was a sale that had to be done," Fiorentina coach Vincenzo Montella said. "Cuadrado is a player that has always arrived with a smile and given everything to Fiorentina - I'm happy for him because he is going to a big club."

With this news, though, Chelsea also bids farewell to German national player Andre Schurrle, who has signed with the Bundisliga team VfL Wolfsburg.
