Carrie Underwood has been one of the skinniest pregnant women we think we've ever seen. While the country star and former American Idol winner might be delivering her baby in the next couple months, she has somehow managed to maintain her slim figure throughout most of her pregnancy. It has only been recently that fans have been seeing the change in her body as her baby bump starts growing, but she said she can't wait to give birth and reclaim her body.

The star just recently appeared at the American Country Countdown Awards, where she showed off her growing baby bump in a gorgeous white cutout gown.

Despite looking as radiant as ever, the mom-to-be spoke out to People earlier this month, saying she can't wait to get back to her post-baby body.

"I'm looking forward to reclaiming my body," the star explained in a recent interview with the magazine. "I've been saying it's been on loan for the past many months ... I'm excited to take it back."

The star also talked about her pregnancy while she was on The Today Show with Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb, where she actually confessed to forgetting that she was pregnant at times.

"I'll just walk by a mirror ... then I'll see myself and just start laughing," the star joked, adding that "my body's definitely not mine right now!"

It seems like it wouldn't be hard to forget you're pregnant, as Carrie barely gained any weight during this time.

But despite wanting to get back to her pre-pregnancy weight, she did tell People that the whole process has been truly amazing.

"Just knowing that the whole process itself is really beautiful ... Even when I feel pretty large, it really is such a miracle and such a beautiful thing," the star explained.

Carrie and hubby Mike Fisher are expecting their first child together this April.
