Following their post-Super Bowl 49 lip-syncing extravaganza, Jimmy Fallon and The Roots packed up The Tonight Show again and hit the road to spend the week broadcasting from its former home, Los Angeles. The West Coast trip prompted a new opening scene for the late show, a parody of the greatest story of coast-shifting ever told, the Will Smith-starring The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. Fallon was joined by a number of the original stars of the hit '90s sitcom -- including Dancing With The Stars winner Alfonso Ribeiro and DJ Jazzy Jeff -- and also showed off his Super Bowl photobombing skills with Avengers: Age of Ultron star Chris Evans and Jurassic World hunk Chris Pratt.

The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air cold open was an almost-perfect recreation of the show's famous title song, with Fallon decked out out in typically bright early '90s Will Smith swag, getting busted for graffiti and "playing some B-ball"... in Studio 6G. With The Roots looking on, Fallon rapped about leaving freezing New York City for the sunny climes of LA - just as Will Smith once left the mean streets of West Philadelphia - and even got in 'The Carlton' dance with Dancing With The Stars champ Ribeiro.

As Fallon rapped, some of the crew were "sick of the cold, said that maybe I should take the show on the road / Higgins packed up my bags, cause we're leaving today / he said, 'It's time to take The Tonight Show to sunny L.A.'" Fallon then jumped a cab out the front of Rockefeller Plaza... driven by Fresh Prince star and musical offsider DJ Jazzy Jeff, rapping "The studio's 3,000 miles away, but I thought, 'Nah forget it - yo, homes, to L.A!'"

As they pull up to Universal Studios, Fallon finishes off the perfect clip saying "I pulled up to the park about seven or eight, and I yelled out to Jazzy, 'Yo homes, smell ya later!' I looked at the city, said today is the day, we bring The Tonight Show from New York to LA."

There was, however, no Will Smith, who appeared in Fallon's first ever Tonight Show to deliver the memorable Evolution of Hip-Hop Dancing video.

But it's ok. As Rolling Stone point out, "While the clip ultimately lacked an appearance from Will Smith, the one and only Fresh Prince will appear as a Tonight Show guest this Thursday alongside Rosamund Pike and Jack White."
Check it out below:

The host also showed off his Super Bowl photobombing skills... with epic star power in the form of Captain America (Chris Evans) and Star Lord (Guardians of the Galaxy star Chris Pratt).

It involves triple piggy-backs, hoagie eating and human hurdles as the three stars photobomb unsuspecting football fans at the Super Bowl. Watch it below.
