Taken 4 has a trailer already. Star Liam Neeson is on the warpath once again, but this time it's to retrieve a lost Chihuahua named Pepe. Or is it Paco who's been taken? Either way, Neeson — when he's not leaving threatening voice mail messages — has rebooted his Taken character Bryan Mills and teams up with Jimmy Kimmel and Kimmel security guard Guillermo to deliver the epic new (spoof) trailer for Taken 4

As host Jimmy Kimmel explains "There's a new No. 1 movie in America, Taken 3, which is the third film in the popular film franchise starring Liam Neeson; it took in $40 million at the box office over the weekend... and y'know, this was supposed to be the last Taken movie, but since it did so well they decided to make another one, and we're lucky enough to have a preview."

"Again, let me explain..." he said slowly. "Taken 3 did so well this weekend, that even though it's only Wednesday... they wrote the movie on Monday, shot the movie on Tuesday and they've already cut a trailer for the new film: take a look."

It features Liam Neeson and Jimmy Kimmel Live offsider Guillermo reflecting on 'security school' - with a picture of Neeson giving Guillermo a noogy - and talking about their families. Guillermo's family? His two dogs: Pepe and Paco, who 'keep him busy'.

Unfortunately, as Neeson says, one of Pepe or Paco, "has been 'Taken'. This happens to me a lot."

The ensuing clip - featuring Jimmy Kimmel as a excellently-haired villain - is tremendous. Check it out below: the ending is particularly great.

Taken 3 - the actual final movie in Neeson's franchise - is indeed No. 1 at the US box office and as The Hollywood Reporter explain, it's $40.4 million makes it the "second-best January opening of all time." (The best belongs to the Ice Cube-Kevin Hart buddy cop movie Ride Along, from 2014)

They add that it made another "$41 million overseas from 36 markets for an early foreign total of $52.3 million and worldwide haul of $92.7 million." Not a bad result for a movie that cost $48 million.

Neeson has also recently spoken out against the amount of guns in America, calling it "a disgrace."
