Ellen DeGeneres is a prankster. The Ellen daytime talk host surprised affable Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon in pretty epic fashion on her show, and finally revealed it last night. The beloved DeGeneres also surprised the Tonight Show audience with a very special surprise gift, and engaged Fallon in a dance off as the two complimentary hosts spent a long time complimenting each other. Later she'd join Steve Carrell, Reece Witherspoon and Fallon in a game of 'Password.' Watch the videos below.

Joined by the Oscar award-nominated pair -Wild star Witherspoon and Foxcatcher's Carrell - the foursome delivered an epic game of 'Password' featuring booty calls and more. With Ellen and Jimmy seemingly being of one mind, as ABC point out, the two are almost the perfect match.

Ellen and Jimmy earlier complimented each other extensively, with Ellen saying that it felt like it was watching herself, as Jimmy's so nice. "I'm watching myself! Why do I love him so much?" laughed Ellen.

She then jokingly complained about how people now expect her to give things away on her show... and proceeded to give the audience something from her purse. It wasn't her Covergirl makeup, but a much more gender-equal prize. Watch the clip below to find out what the audience scored.

The two super genial hosts then celebrated with a pretty tasty dance off, much to the continued delight of the already-won over audience.

But Ellen also has a reputation as a prankster, and, as The Huffington Post point out, "Because of this, Jimmy Fallon was especially cautious when he made an appearance on her show." Unfortunately nothing Fallon could've done would have prepared himself for would've helped.

Find out how Ellen scared Jimmy, sending him into the laps of awaiting audience members, below.
