Season 3 of The Americans continues with an all-new episode on FX. As the spy/family drama picks up from last season's cliff-hanger, will undercover spies Elizabeth (Keri Russell) and Philip (Matthew Rhys) Jennings eventually get caught because of their mysterious 'Baggage?'

Back at Moscow, Nina (Annet Mahendru) is inside her prison cell. Philip glances at Annalise's dead body before he leaves with Yousaf. Philip calls home, asking Paige to get Elizabeth on the phone. Paige overhears their conservation, but she thinks her father is actually cheating on her mother.

Philip needs Yousaf's help because his people are dying in Afghanistan. At another location, Stan Beeman (Noah Emmerich) and his FBI team unload crates from a moving truck. Inside one of those crates is a mysterious woman breathing through an oxygen mask.

Philip and Elizabeth break every bone in Annalise before putting her body in a suitcase. Elizabeth sneaks in a picture, capturing Yousaf committing the crime. Elsewhere, Nina gets an unexpected visitor from Belgium in her prison cell. She pretends to not care about the other inmate.

At FBI headquarters, the woman from the crate is seeking asylum because she believes everything is over. Elizabeth can't sleep because she has a flashback about her mother and dead father. While a press conference is taking place with Stan's defector, Philip heads on over to his meeting with Yousaf.

At a dark alley, Stan is confronted by a gunman, who is angry that Nina has been sent to a Soviet prison. Stan remains clam as he keeps walking, waiting for the gunman to pull the trigger. Stan turns around but sees the alley completely empty.

Philip points to Elizabeth that Annalise's dead body is exactly what's going to happen to Paige. If Paige joins the Center, she's going to end up in a suitcase. Elizabeth leaves the room offended and ends the argument abruptly.

After his life had been threatened, Stan calls home and leaves a message for his family. He then goes to see Sandra (Susan Misner) and tells her what happened. He wants to reconcile but she doesn't want to go back home.

After Philip scopes out a hotel building and takes pictures, he tells Elizabeth she could visit her dying mother. Elizabeth's mission prevents her from going back home. She meets with Gabriel (Frank Langella) and dishes to him more stories about Paige.

Elizabeth and Philip plan their next surveillance around Yousaf and his visitor. Elizabeth trails them by car with Philip close behind her. After taking snapshots of license plates, the two walk into the bar and take pictures of Yousaf and the other agents.

The defector, the woman from the crate, is actually a mole from the Center. Nina is sent from her cell to an interrogation room. She meets a man who has influence to save her.

Elizabeth tells Philip that her mother didn't hesitate when she was called into duty. He doesn't know how to respond in their silence.
