Richard Sherman's Girlfriend Ashley Lillian Moss Gives Birth To Couple's First Child Named Rayden On Special Day [DETAILS]

Richard Sherman is now a new dad! MStars News has learned that Sherman's girlfriend, Ashley Lillian Moss gave birth to the couple's first child, a baby boy, on Thursday, Feb. 5. According to Yahoo Sports, the new parents named their baby boy Rayden, and are in love with his birthday, 2/5 which happens to be Sherman's football jersey No. 25.

The excited father tweeted: "My son sure does know how to make an entrance! 2/5/15... Is it a coincidence or is he just that clever?! Either way I'm ecstatic."

Sherman's fellow Seattle Seahawks teammate and star quarterback, Russell Wilson sent out an early application for babysitting duties, and tweeted: "@RSherman_25 so happy for you bud!!! You are going to be an amazing dad! Love you bro! Let me make if u need me to babysit!"

So far, no details have been given on the hospital or Rayden's weight or height, but we do love his name!

MStars News previosly reported that Sherman and his family had a backup plan if his son decided to come during Super Bowl XLIX.

"You know, I got a couple of people on alert," he said. "We got a plan for in case things go bad, but everything should be fine." And everything was!

"I think he's going to be a disciplined young man and stay in there until after the game," Sherman also said.

We also learned that baby Rayden wasn't the only baby Seahawk due this year. DeShawn Shead and his wife, Jessica Martinez are expecting a baby girl in April.
