LA Lakers legend Magic Johnson last night explained to Jimmy Kimmel just what it's like to be an NBA champion, and more importantly, how to party with Jack Nicholson. Taking to Jimmy Kimmel Live!, the five-time NBA champion and three-time NBA MVP and NBA Finals MVP, super-successful businessman and current owner of the Los Angeles Dodgers also chatted about hanging out with current Lakers legend Kobe Bryant at a Dodgers game, and played Wiffle Ball with host Jimmy Kimmel.

First off, you need to watch Magic play Wiffle Ball after talking about buying the Dodgers.

Reflecting on winning his first NBA title 35 years ago in the 1980 Finals against the Philadelphia 76ers, Magic remembered their center, Caldwell Jones looking at the 6' 9" point guard lining up at center in place of injured NBA MVP Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and saying "you're kidding me."

Magic then famously went join to score 42 points and nab 15 rebounds in one of the greatest individual performances in the history of the league.

But it was after they beat the Boston Celtics in the NBA finals a couple of years later that "The coolest thing happened," said Magic.

"Our coolest party was when Jack Nicholson came out - at the height of his career, a super super super star - and partied with us at after we won the championship against the Celtics," the legend revealed.

It turns out he and his Showtime Lakers teammates were starstruck. "We were looking like, 'That's Jack Nicholson dancing beside us!'" Magic laughed. "We couldn't believe it. It was the coolest thing to have him there partying with us."

And even though Nicholson was already a longtime staple at Lakers games, "It's another thing to be sitting right there beside you at a party and him having drinks with you," said Magic. "Then all of a sudden we're all on the dance floor. That was the coolest thing."

"I called everyone back home in Lansing, Michigan," added Magic, "and said 'I was partying with Jack Nicholson.'" Check out what he said below.

Later Magic also offered up his advice for the 2014-15 Los Angeles Lakers: lose. And lose big.

"I don't have the hope anymore," the star laughed. "They're not tanking, they're playing hard...but what I'm saying this team is not built to win, so if you're going to be bad, be all the way bad, so we can get a good draft pick."

Find out who Magic would like to see the Lakers draft in the 2015 NBA draft, and what happened when he and Kobe Bryant hung out at a Dodgers game below.
