From the comic genius of Mike Judge (Beavis and Butt-head), the laugh-out-loud comedy, Silicon Valley, is back on HBO for season 2. Now that their startup company has gotten funding, will Erlich Bachman (T.J. Miller), Richard Hendriks (Thomas Middleditch), and the rest of the gang find out what "success" means in April?

In the first season, Richard (Middleditch) had developed a revolutionary data compression algorithm. Unfortunately, competing business, Hooli, wanted that algorithm but Richard wouldn't sell it to them. It was a race to the finish line as Richar, Elrich, and his friends tried to get their cloud storage platform working for the TechCrunch event.

At TechCrunch, the engineers at Hooli had worked backwards and copied Richards' algorithm, even making it better. With some quick thinking, and some "jerking off" inspiration, Richard came up with a new compression algorithm that made a fool out of Hooli. Monica (Amanda Crew) warned Richard that his success will bring an onslaught of lawsuits and money from his competition, who want to bring down his company, Pied Piper.

Variety mentions the HBO show previously earned four Emmy nominations, including outstanding comedy series. The show even nabbed Golden Globe nomination for best television series - comedy or musical.

Based on the newly released promo, we can tell success hasn't gone over the heads of Pied Piper. The promo ends with a hilarious and expletive rant from Erlich (Miller) that will bring you to your knees.
