Two superheroes from the DC Comics Universe arrives in an exciting all-new episode of CW's The Flash. With Caitlin Snow (Danielle Panabaker)'s help, Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) has to save Firestorm (Robbie Amell) after he becomes 'The Nuclear Man.'

Barry arrives with a rose to his date with Linda Park. While the two are having fun eating their Mexican tacos, a robbery is also taking place. After Joe (Jesse L. Martin) calls  hm in to stop a jumper, Linda kisses Barry, hinting she wants a second date with him. Firestorm meets with one of his former friends and ends up blowing himself up.

Cisco (Carlos Valdes) and Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) joke around about Barry's second date, until they hear news about the "burning man." While Cisco and Jesse Investigate the murder of Barry's mother, Harrison Wells (Tom Cavanagh) realizes Martin Stein (Victor Garber) is in control of Ronnie's body.

In Barry's flashback, Martin was riding the same train with him the day of the particle accelerator explosion. In his hands, he was carrying the F.I.R.E.S.T.O.R.M. cube when the explosion occurred.

Barry meets with Clarissa, Martin's wife, and shows her a photograph of Ronnie. In Clarissa' flashback, a month had passed since the explosion, Ronnie broke into her house, wondering what happened to his missing body. Elsewhere, Cisco discovers the mirror in Barry's old home may contain images from the night of the murder.

Harrison and Caitlin catch sight of Firestorm, while Barry and Linda are making out on the couch. During their firefight, The Flash holds onto Firestorm as they fly around in the air. After Caitlin stops Firestorm from burning the scarlet speedster, he flies away.

Back at Barry's home, as Cisco projects the murder, Joe discovers blood on the wall. Iris (Candice Patton) screws things up with Linda, mentioning her past with him. Clarissa meets with Ronnie/Martin and cools him down. Stein thinks he can separate himself from Ronnie, but Harrison disagrees.

With two blood types, Joe wants Cisco to investigate Dr. Wells. While Martin remembers when Ronnie proposed to Caitlin, Harrison discovers his unstable body will go nuclear. If his temperature keeps rising, Harrison expects a nuclear explosion if they don't kill Ronnie/Martin.

With the clock ticking, Martin knows he is a nuclear bomb waiting to explode. While Iris watches Barry make up with Linda, Martin has escaped from the lab. Caitlin and the Flash race to put on the quantum splicer on Martin.

Cisco discovers an older Barry was there the night of the murder. The Flash carries Caitlin as they run from the nuclear explosion, which attracts the military's attention.
