Professional One-Armed Surfer Bethany Hamilton Is Pregnant: Mom-To-Be Expecting First Child, A Boy In June And Hints That Her Son May Be A "Jr." [DETAILS]

Bethany Hamilton is pregnant and expecting a baby boy this summer! MStars News has learned that the 22-year-old professional surfer will give birth sometime in June.

According to Entertainment Tonight, Hamilton is 22 weeks along and will be welcoming a son with her husband, a youth pastor named Adam Dirks.

Hamilton survived a shark attack in 2003 after the animal took her left arm. She and her husband announced the news that they were going to be parents via Instagram.

"So we have a little surprise for you...baby on board," the exciting mother-to-be announced.

"She's pregnant, yes!" her husband says.

"In baby terms I am 22 weeks, which is about halfway there." She noted that they have been looking "for names," as her husband chimes and and reveals that they are expecting a "boy."

The couple said that they aren't revealing their son's name until he is born. Bethany says, "I've been surfing throughout my whole pregnancy." She says she "plans to surf as long as she can."

Bethany may have hinted that her son will be a "Jr.," when she talked about putting her Surfs Like A Girl business on hold. "Surfs like a girl is definitely on hold...Jr. took over and I will continue to do it once I've given birth."

She also revealed that she plans on taking her son on surfing tours, as she continues to do the sport she loves.

Adam, Bethany's husband says, "The cool thing is it's going to be an adventure for us, and you guys will get a piece of it too."

When it comes to having one arm and being pregnant, and a new mom, Bethany says, "Motherhood with one arm, I've been kind of thinking about it. I often forget that I have one arm, but when I think about a squirming baby, changing the diaper and just me and this squirmy baby," she adds, "It could be really challenging."
