Guiliana Rancic, Maria Menounos Feud: E! Host at War, 'Fashion Police' Star and 'Extra' Anchor 'Avoid Each Other at All Costs'

Let the battle of the co-hosts begin! While The View took center stage for cat fights over the last couple months, it seems the anchors over at E! News have gone from reporting on gossip to being the center of it. Giuliana Rancic of Fashion Police and Maria Menounos have found themselves in a feud, as the longtime E! host has been feeling that the former Extra star is trying to steal her spotlight. They avoid each other at all costs.

The (New York) Daily News posted last month that there was a mix-up at the SAG Awards earlier this year, where Giuliana's hosting spot ended up going to Menounos after the star seemed to be double booked. But their feud seemed to go far beyond this simple hosting issue. Rather, Rancic reportedly feels that Maria is trying to push her out at the network.

According to Radar Online, Rancic is worried about her job security at the cable channel now that Maria has been hanging around.

"Giuliana feels incredibly threatened in every aspect of her job -- and for good reason!" an insider explained to the site.

"A lot of people within the company believe that Maria was hired to push Giuliana out," the source continued, adding that "most of the employees there are actually glad because Giuliana is just no longer a nice person and is not pleasant to be around."

The site also goes on to report that things between the two are so hostile at the network that they try their hardest to stay away from each other when they can.

"They avoid each other at all costs, and when they do have interactions it is so awkward because Giuliana is constantly trying to prove herself by one-upping Maria," an insider explained to the site, adding that "it has affected her mood, as well as her performance on the job, and everyone inside E! and on TV can contest to that."
