That is exactly what besties are for! Carrie Underwood has turned to one of her best friends in the country music industry for some baby advice with only a few months left until she gives birth. The former American Idol winner turned to new mom and Lady Antebellum singer Hillary Scott for some childrearing tricks and tips. And if anyone know how to take care of a newborn while still recording new music and touring, it's Scott.

Hillary spoke to People magazine, where she explained to them that Carrie had asked for some advice on balancing motherhood and superstardom.

"Carrie and I are really good friend and it was an honest, expectant new mom conversation," Hillary explained to the news site.

While she did give the starlet some good tips, she also mentioned that it's a strange adjustment in the beginning.

"It's a weird transition at first — you feel like you have to split your brain because you're in such a mommy mode and then you've got to work at such an intense job too," the "Need You Now" singer told the magazine.

"I told Carrie, 'Don't try to cater the noise thing to the baby because they'll sleep through it,' Hillary mentioned. "Eisele started flying and traveling with us at three months, so we made an effort to make sure she was adaptable and could sleep anywhere. And I said, 'Let your dogs bark!' I know she loves her dogs — they are her babies too."

In related news, it seems that Underwood's baby advice didn't just stop there; she also reached out to fellow country musician, and her CMA co-host Brad Paisley, to give her some tips. But it doesn't look like Brad has the best answers, according to CMT.

"I have no clue what to tell her," Brad explained to the country music site. "I've gotten a few of texts from Carrie ... like, 'Who your pediatrician?' And, 'How do you do that?' Or 'What's this?'"

Paisley revealed that he doesn't have all the answers because, "it's a much different thing when it's the mom going on the road."

Carrie is expected to give birth this spring.
