Today is a sad day for Two and a Half Men fans, as the CBS series is saying goodbye after 12 years. While the show has gone through some transformations over the years, including replacing star Charlie Sheen with Ashton Kutcher, it doesn't make saying goodbye any easier. The series, which replaced Sheen during the eighth season and brought Kutcher on shortly after, will be closing the door on one of the mot successful sitcoms of all time. While fans are definitely going to miss the bachelor antics, Ashton might be the one missing out on the series the most. The star took to his Facebook page earlier today to post a touching message to his costar Jon Cryer, who has been with the series since the beginning, saying, "I will miss working with you every day."

"Thank you Mr. Cryer for making this job never feel like work," the star wrote in the heartfelt message. "I will miss working with you every day. You are a true partner in every sense of the word. In four years I never heard you complain and never heard you speak ill of another person even if they took advantage of your kindness and generosity. You are a gentleman. You are a talent. You are someone I look up to. See you tomorrow night. #twoandahalfmen."

With the series coming to a close tonight, there have been rumors that Sheen is expected to make a reappearance, but it seems that show runner Chuck Lorre is trying to keep everything shrouded in "mystery" until the episode airs.

"Chuck is an extraordinary showrunner. I can promise you there will be a lot of surprises and out of respect from Chuck, and this is a direct quote, he has promised to deliver what he's calling 'a mystery sandwich,'" CBS president Nina Tassler explained to E! News.

Tune in tonight at 9 p.m. on CBS for the hour-long series finale.
