When we started hearing some plot details around director Alan Taylor's upcoming 2015 blockbuster, Terminator Genisys, there was some hesitation and wonder that started to grow around the new chapter of the franchise. Obviously, we're happy to see Arnold Schwarzenegger back in the series, but how is this not a reboot or sequel, yet still within the universe of the originals? Well, we'll definitely get our answers on July 1 this year, but a bunch of positive reviews of the film's script have been circulating this week, making us believe this to be on par with the James Cameron movies that started the franchise!

Terminator Genisys is directed by Alan Taylor and stars Emilia Clarke, J.K. Simmons, Jai Courtney, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Matt Smith, Jason Clarke, Byung-hun Lee, and Douglas Smith.

According to two reviews of the script posted to The Arnold Fans (via MovieWeb), we're in for quite the treat this summer! Apparently, we get to see great action in the future wars that was hinted at in the original Terminator!

"I think the best way to describe Terminator Genisys is three action packed movies in one," one positive script review stated. "First of all, we finally get to see the Future Wars. Where John Connor, Kyle Reese and resistance take on Skynet."

Since this is a review of the script, it describes this action scene by page amount, which is allegedly around 18 pages. The reviewer surmises that this would call for a 10- to 15- minute action scene focusing on the future wars.

The other review praises the script as "like no other Terminator film yet in the fact it's not set in one time period from start to finish with a single villain to deal with! (via Slash Film)"

Without giving anything else away, we'll conclude that the script is pretty good. Do you think it'll translate well on the big screen this summer? Let us know what you think in the comments section below!
