With the upcoming July 1, 2015 release of Terminator Genisys, the 5th film in the popular sci-fi movie franchise, fans have a lot on their minds about this new chapter in the story. First of all, we're not exactly sure if we should describe it as a sequel, reboot or something like that, but also, we probably forgot that it was proposed as a new trilogy when it was first announced. When we started hearing some plot details around director Alan Taylor's upcoming 2015 blockbuster, Terminator Genisys, there was some hesitation and wonder that started to grow around the new chapter of the franchise. Obviously, we're happy to see Arnold Schwarzenegger back in the series, but how is this not a reboot or sequel, yet still within the universe of the originals? As more and more information comes out concerning Terminator: Genisys, we learn that the Colin Trevorrow movie is pretty ambitious. That said, we can still take away some simpler features of this film, namely the inclusion of Arnold Schwarzenegger as the T-800 we've grown to love over the many franchise films. While most of us want to forget the Christian Bale movie Terminator: Salvation, it looks like an unused alternate ending for the 2009 movie could make its way into the 2015 blockbuster, Terminator: Genisys.
