Zendaya Coleman has been one great star out of all the chaos she suffered this week when E! host, Giuliana Rancic made some ugly remarks about the Disney actress' dreadlocks.

MStars News has been keeping readers updated by the minute with the Oscar drama that played out on E! Fashion Police when Rancic made the comments about Zendaya's hair, she said: "I feel like she smells like patchouli oil and weed."

When Zendaya heard what Rancic said she, along with others including Solange Knowles became outraged and expressed their disgust for Rancic via social media.

Zendaya's long statement included the words, "disrespectful," and "outrageously offensive." The actress also named very influential African Americans who also have dreads as some wonder what they may think of the rude comments.

Rancic made two public apologies, one via Twitter, and one on TV. Her co-host, Kelly Osbourne threatened that she'd quit the show if the drama wasn't fixed soon. So, is it really over?

Zendaya wrote another statement via Instagram that read:

"Studies have shown that even though we try to act without prejudice, sometime it's just hidden inside us due to our past or surroundings. That hidden prejudice is often influential in our actions. It's our job to spot these issues within others and ourselves and destroy them before they become hurtful. I have so many people looking up to me, that I couldn't be scared wait it out, nor could I just stand up for me; I had to do it for WE," Zendaya stated.

She continued, "It is important in this journey to remember that just because someone has inflicted hurt upon us, it does not give us the right to do the same. Body shaming and other hurtful tactics will never get the job done. As hard as it was to stop MYSELF from being ignorant and from posting the first mean words that came to my mind because I was hurt, I had to think about the bigger picture. Instead I say for two hours on my phone, doing my research and formulating an educated response. Giuliana, I appreciate your apology and I'm glad it was a learning experience for you and for the network."

The star says she hopes that everyone one else can forgive Rancic for the comments. "I hope that others negatively affected by her words can also find it in their hearts to accept her apology as well. From a quote we all know by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. 'Darkness cannot drive out darkness, only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate, only love can do that.' Let's be that light and spread that love. -Zendaya Coleman"

MStars News wants to know, do you forgive Rancic or is this still an issue for you — do you think she should be fired, or punished from the network?

Some of Zendaya's followers wrote:

misseskb704 "I hope they release her from E network. She showed her true character in that comment. She acts like she's on Joans level....nooo honeyyy"

hydroknows "For all the people that are bashing her for standing up for herself, it's most likely that you don't share a similar struggles and as they say you can't hate something if you don't understand"

eitybity "Okay u forgave her, now get over it! it won't be the last time someone criticizes what u do. Don't forget u were on that show too making fun of people & u didn't think of how it was going to hurt them & now it was done to u & you're all offended by it. To me celebrities who don't show it bothered them shows they are the bigger person"

araacelix3 "Get over it omg You really shouldn't have been at the Oscars in the first place"
