Fashion Police has once again made the news, and this time it's for something Giuliana Rancic said about a Disney darling's outfit at the Oscars this past weekend. It seems Zendaya Coleman found what E! host Rancic said about her to be extremely rude and disrespectful. According to Radar Online, Zendaya was spotted at the A-list event where she was wearing her hair in dreadlocks. Rancic spoke about the K.C. Undercover star during the Fashion Police after-Oscar special, saying that they looked like they would "smell like patchouli oil ... or maybe weed."

Coleman wasn't happy about the insensitive remark and fired back at Giulana on her Instagram account by posting a lengthy message in response to the comment.

"There is a fine line between what is funny and disrespectful," the star posted on her social media account. "Someone said something about my hair at the Oscars that left me in awe. Not because I was relishing in rave outfit reviews, but because I was hit with ignorant slurs and pure disrespect."

The former Shake It Up actress continued, "To say that an 18 year old young woman with locs must smell of patchouli or 'weed' is not only a large stereotype but outrageously offensive."

The reasoning for Zendaya wearing her hair in dreadlocks had a positive message. She explained that she wanted "to showcase them in a positive light, to remind people of color our hair is good enough."

Having seen the message, Giuliana was quick to apologize to the star on her Twitter account.

"Dear @Zendaya, I'm sorry I offended you and others. I was referring to a bohemian chic look. Had NOTHING to do with race and NEVER would!!!" the star tweeted.
